The sound of waves tickling your ears… In a Ryokan by the Sea
Recommended for those wanting a relaxing seaside sojourn, this is the perfect lodging to rest by the sea amid the sound of the waves. Although this ryokan is 2 kilometers from the port, the 5th generation owner Ryokan Yorozuya is happy to pick guests up in a microbus, so it doesn’t feel inconvenient at all. The inn is near the center of town, where most of the shops are concentrated, so it’s quite convenient for a bit of shopping, as well.

8,000/9,000/10,000/12,000 Yen(It comes with a sea urchin over 9,000yen)
Naturally, the ryokan’s cooking focuses on sea food, and with the owner’s own fishing permit, you’re in the perfect place to enjoy fish caught right out in front of the building. In May expect spear squid, and in June look for sea urchin.
And back in the kitchen is chef and house mistress Yumiko! The freshness of the ingredients itself is what calls for such hard training to bring out the very best flavor. Yumiko says what’s most important for her is creating a home-like atmosphere for her guests. The owner-couple work hard together to run this family business.
Right on the Sea! From your room to the beach…
Families can put on their swimsuits and head right to the beach from the hotel for fun and shellfish hunting. The sea is so close, you’ll think you’re on your own private beach! You can borrow crab fishing gear as well, and their guest record so far is 501 crabs at once. Why not give a go at breaking the record?
